Later in the meeting, Chair addressed community concerns about possible data-center proposals, saying that, to the chair's knowledge, no one had approached the county and that many of the reports circulating were "Facebook rumors." Chair reminded the public that the county does not have zoning authority over such projects and invited anyone with information to contact commissioners.
The commission recessed for 15 minutes and was scheduled to return at 9:30 a.m.
