The Dresden Select Board unanimously appointed Eddie Stewart and reappointed Dawn Pallis to the town Planning Board during its meeting on June 2, 2026 at Pownalborough Hall. The motion to appoint and reappoint was made by Jeff Bickford and seconded by Keith Allen.
The action followed a Planning Board report from Jeff Holmes noting that a public hearing for the Sunset Ridge project had been held and that a Conditional Use Permit was approved. The Board also approved the minutes of its previous meeting and the payroll and accounts-payable warrants on motions by Bickford and seconded by Allen; both motions passed unanimously.
Blaine Kittell has expressed interest in a Planning Board seat but had not submitted a formal application at the time of the meeting. The appointments keep the Planning Board at its current complement while the Board continues work on an ADU ordinance update and upcoming Comprehensive Plan matters.
The Board did not set an immediate deadline for any additional Planning Board applications; interested residents are instructed to file the standard application (not specified in the minutes).
