Paramus Board reappoints professionals and approves homeowner additions and other resolutions

At its Feb. 12, 2026 meeting, the Borough of Paramus Board of Adjustment reappointed key board professionals and approved several homeowner applications and resolutions.
During reorganization, Mr. Reda moved to appoint Susan Bischoff as court reporter, Craig Bossong as board attorney, John Dunlea as board engineer and Kathryn Gregory as board planner; Mr. Al-Yousefy seconded each nomination and the board voted 5–5 in favor of each appointment.
On Docket No. 7258, applicants Anthony and Skye Sardanopoli of 723 Stevens Court were sworn in and testified that a two-story rear addition, including a one-car garage, was proposed for safety and storage for their family. Mr. Nicoletti moved to approve the application; Mr. Reda seconded and the motion passed 5–0.
The board also recorded approvals for Docket No. 7259 (Shikar — 38 Oliver Road — inground pool and sports court) and Docket No. 7256 (Fernandez — 165 Coombs Drive — rear porch and two-story addition) as noted in the minutes; the recorded votes for those resolutions were 4–4 as stated in the record. Chairman Locicero then moved to adjourn and the meeting was adjourned following a 5–5 recorded vote.
