On May 20 the Town of Boothbay Planning Board approved a repair and maintenance project for a recreational pier at 36 Wharf Road for the Brett and Frances Siegfried Living Trust. The proposal, presented by representative Alex Rioux of Rioux and Sons Construction LLC, would replace decking and handrails on an existing 4-by-97-foot pier.
Reviewer Marjorie Renee Fales presented findings of fact and moved several motions that the project met the cited sections of the Town of Boothbay Zoning Ordinance. The board voted 5-0 to approve the work. As a condition of approval, the contractor must provide their sediment-and-erosion-control certification to the Code Enforcement Office before the Shoreland Building permit will be issued.
The minutes note the deed reference and property identification (Assessor’s Tax Map R07/103-010) and list the contractor representative as Alex Rioux.
