Orrville announces new hires, employee award and upcoming Utilities director retirement

He also announced that Derek Johnson joined the fire department as a firefighter/EMT and that Jerson Lopez Irias has joined the police department as an officer. The mayor expressed appreciation to Norm Hibinger for 32 years of service on the Planning Commission and said the city is seeking a resident to fill the vacancy.
Utilities Director Brediger told the council that this was his next-to-last meeting before retiring at the end of next month.
