SRO details upgrades and go-bag rollout; board adopts revised Emergency Operations Plan

Board members discussed additional assessments for areas not previously reviewed and administrators said they had engaged Lockout USA to evaluate stadium and field areas. The board later approved a revised Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) by motion of John Waller, supported by England; the motion carried 4-0.
The EOP approval follows the district’s description of stepped-up security measures and is intended to formalize response procedures. The board did not specify implementation dates or a public distribution schedule for the revised plan in the minutes. Administrators also reported they are monitoring state budget developments that could affect school operations.
