Minot-Sleeper Library seeks youth services librarian; Select Board reviews roof leak and maintenance options

An electrician has been scheduled to check wiring and the light fixture affected by the leak.
Board members raised concerns about addressing ice dams without creating additional building damage and suggested a qualified roofing or building-insulation professional evaluate the roof and recommend preventive measures. The minutes record discussion about clarifying maintenance responsibilities for the library building: while library staff manage interior operations, the building is a Town asset, and the Board said an MOU with the Minot-Sleeper Library Trustees may be appropriate. The Board also suggested possibly setting aside funds to hire a contractor or consultant to coordinate maintenance.
