Wilbraham water officials note rising seasonal use, set April billing and begin hydrant flushing SOP

The board also reviewed capital-project coordination: Tighe & Bond requested guidance on which hydrants to use and the preferred brand of gate valves for the Miller Street water main replacement, and Pafumi said he would coordinate a separate meeting with RJ White, Matt Loveling and Reed Soley to update the Brookmont Pump Station project schedule, which staff expect to begin in the coming months.
The board scheduled its next meeting for May 8, 2026, at 8:45 a.m.
