Fincastle approves resolution to reapply for CDBG funding

Town Manager Melanie McFadyen told the council the reapplication contains only minor changes from last year and therefore does not require a public hearing under the grant process. McFadyen read the resolution aloud and the council approved it on a motion by Ed Bordett, seconded by Paige Ware; all present voted yes.
The approval authorizes staff to proceed with the updated CDBG application and associated steps required by the grant process. The council did not attach additional conditions or require a public hearing because of the limited nature of the changes explained by McFadyen.
