Upper Merion Historical Commission appoints 2026 officers, confirms meeting schedule

At the reorganization segment, the commission appointed Mark as president (motion by Jim, seconded by John), Jim as vice president (motion by Matt, seconded by Mark) and John as secretary (motion by Jim, seconded by Matt). All three appointments were approved unanimously, recorded as 4-0 votes.
The commission approved the October minutes (motion by John, seconded by Matt, approved 4-0) and the November minutes (motion by Mark, seconded by John, approved 4-0). The December minutes were deferred; Commissioner John was asked to prepare them for review at the February meeting.
The group confirmed Luke as a non‑voting student member for 2026 and agreed that regular meetings will remain scheduled for the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m., available both in person and in hybrid format.
Chair Mark extended New Year wishes to attendees during chair comments.
The meeting adjourned at 7:46 p.m. on a motion by Matt, seconded by Jim, approved 4-0. The commission set its next meeting date for Feb. 10, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
