Granville board adopts multiple handbooks, policy updates and fund transfers

The substitute system will change from Frontline to SmartFind; the board noted daily substitute pay rates are tied to the salary base and increase automatically.
Emergency closures and insurance: The board approved the emergency-closure plan required by state rules to be adopted by August 1; under the plan remote learning can be used for credit starting on the fourth day of closure after three in-person days are lost, and the district association has signed off.
