Homeowner Carmen Messina said landlords face hardships finding renters, which she said "stops the flow of providing affordable workforce housing," and she expressed support for a streamlined process. The committee asked Mr. Major and Mr. Kolnik to prepare a draft streamlined process for all applicants for the committee to review at a future meeting.
No formal motion or vote was recorded on the rental‑application item during the meeting. The session adjourned at 6:35 p.m.
