Bland supervisors amend 2024 holiday schedule, move December meeting

On Oct. 22 the Bland County Board of Supervisors adopted an amended 2024 Holiday and Meeting Calendar. The changes add a half-day local holiday on Nov. 27, 2024 (to accompany a half-day state holiday), add a local holiday on Dec. 31, 2024, and reschedule the Board's regular December meeting to Dec. 17, 2024.
Supervisor Patrick Groseclose moved adoption of the amended calendar; Supervisor Randy Johnson seconded. The motion passed unanimously on roll call. The changes will be reflected in county operations and scheduling for the remainder of 2024.
