Hospital reports record April revenues but year-to-date loss; chiller and staffing updates noted

The hospital foundation awarded 12 scholarships to local seniors planning medical careers. Staff reported more than 61 ambulance transfers to date and said an autoload system for patient transfers is installed and operational. Representatives also noted a 20-year-old chiller continues to require repairs.
The hospital completed a virtual tabletop exercise for an active-shooter scenario, and representatives from Senator Ricketts’ office are scheduled to tour the facility on June 3. The hospital’s new orthopedic clinic continues to add patients, the update said.
