Planning Commission chair change; council to review zoning ordinance updates

The Boyce Planning Commission has a new chair: Tracey Brown was introduced as the commission's chair during the council meeting.
Commission members reported that they are waiting on feedback from Jeremy Camp on sections 3 and 4 of the town's zoning ordinance; after those edits are made, consultant David Griffin will review sections 1–4. Councilmember Berkeley Reynolds proposed that Town Council meet with the Planning Commission for an initial informational session to walk through suggested ordinance updates; the Planning Commission meets on the third Monday of each month.
Council and commission members said they plan to coordinate a joint session so the bodies can discuss recommended changes and next steps for ordinance updates.
