The board ratified the renewal contract for Oak Bluffs Superior Officers Local #268 (four sergeants and one lieutenant) after ATA Brough described language changes that track earlier patrol officer contract updates. The board also approved appointments to the Board of Registrars (Judith O'Donoghue, two‑year term; Jennifer Royal, three‑year term) and appointed Ryan Bottary as a provisional EMT contingent on meeting requirements.

The board also approved seven FY26 close‑of‑year transfers: Police $185,000; Highway $58,000; Fire‑EMS $43,000; WWTF $10,000; Legal $60,000; Building Maintenance $80,000; Snow and Ice Removal $217,000, and authorized a transfer from available funds on July 15 for snow and ice removal.
The board approved ABCC-related license items: a d/b/a change from Inkwell Beach House to Inkwell Beach Club and a one‑day all‑alcohol permit for a Boston College Alumni Association event at the Mariposa Museum on Aug. 8, 2026.
A motion to allow a 250th birthday 3x5 American flag to be displayed on the Niantic Park courts fence from June 29–July 6 failed on a unanimous vote (5–0 Nay). The board also authorized the chair to sign a regional letter supporting the Martha's Vineyard Commission’s role in reviewing 40B comprehensive permit applications and deferred consideration of an intermunicipal lagoon pump‑out agreement with Tisbury to July 14.
The board accepted a $50 donation to the Oak Bluffs Library and adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
