The Lynn Township Board of Supervisors approved an agricultural security designation for the Vaughn property at its Nov. 13 meeting and set a date for the next Farmland Preservation Committee meeting.
Solicitor Marc Fisher opened a brief hearing at 7:16 p.m. on an ag‑security application for Robert and Lisa Vaughn. With no public comment, the hearing closed and the board passed Resolution 2025‑19 approving ag security for the Vaughn parcel — described in the record as 12.426 acres at 8360 Holbens Valley Rd., New Tripoli (pin no. 52844615963) — on a motion by Ronald Jerdon, seconded by Frederick Najarian. The motion carried unanimously.
The board also noted that the next Farmland Preservation Committee meeting will be held Dec. 16 at 6:30 p.m. to continue discussion about possible township donations in support of farmland preservation. No financial commitment for preservation was recorded at the Nov. 13 meeting.
