Woodbridge Council approves consent ordinances, passes resolutions 1—17 with one abstention

The clerk called the roll and the council approved the minutes from the June 23, 2026 meeting by voice vote. The clerk then introduced two second-reading ordinances (letters A and B) related to Chapter 7 (handicap parking and term prohibitions on specified streets). The council opened the public hearing on A and B, heard no public comment, closed the hearing and adopted both ordinances to be forwarded to the mayor.
On first reading, the council passed three additional ordinances (letters C, D and E) by consent; those measures were published on the township website on 07/08/2026 and a public hearing was scheduled for 07/21/2026 at 6 p.m.
The clerk also asked for a consent motion to approve resolutions 1 through 17. The motion carried; one council member noted an abstention on resolution 17. Later in the meeting, the council moved into the Board of Health meeting as indicated on the agenda and then adjourned.
