The Sanbornton Recreation Commission approved multiple revolving‑fund expenditures at its May 12 meeting to support summer programming and special events.
Recreation Coordinator Amanda Pelissier requested and the commission approved a $5,000 allocation for Summer Day Camp and a $500 allocation for the Before & After Care program after the meeting returned from a brief nonpublic session. The commission also approved $600 to cover inflatables for the SCS 5K and $1,100 for Old Home Day expenses. A separate $200 allocation to support concessions at baseball games was approved earlier in the meeting.
The votes were recorded as follows: Selectman Ralph Carter moved to accept the April 14 minutes (Colleen Longo seconded); Kerri Federico abstained and the motion passed. The financial reports were approved after Carter moved and Federico seconded, with the commission voting unanimously.
Pelissier made the spending requests for the revolving fund after returning to public session. Jax Riendeau made the motion to allocate $5,000 for Summer Day Camp; Carter seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Carter moved the $500 allocation for Before & After Care; Longo seconded and it passed unanimously. Longo moved the $600 allocation for the SCS 5K inflatables; Carter seconded and it passed unanimously. For the $1,100 Old Home Day request Carter moved and Longo seconded; Riendeau recorded an abstention and the motion carried.
