Trustee Susan Stevens moved to reimburse the town $160,500 from the Highway Heavy Equipment Capital Reserve Fund for the purchase of a backhoe, and Trustee Shawna Sample-Garcia seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously among those present. Trustee Susan Stevens and Trustee Shawna Sample-Garcia signed check #3 for $160,500.
Separately, Trustee Shawna Sample-Garcia moved and Chair Megan Farkas seconded a motion to reimburse the town $11,324 from the Expendable Trust Fund for Employees to cover unused vacation and sick time, noting the Board of Selectmen had approved that reimbursement on April 22, 2026. The motion passed unanimously; Trustee Shawna Sample-Garcia and Chair Megan Farkas signed check #106 for $11,324.
Meeting minutes reflect that both reimbursements were approved as requested and that the Board of Selectmen had previously authorized the expenditures on April 8 and April 22, 2026, respectively.
