Selectboard hears Transfer Station updates, publishes trash-hauling RFP; approves $11,324 buyout transfer

In non-public, the board discussed theft of services at the Transfer Station and mediation that is ongoing; no votes or decisions were recorded in non-public. Transfer Station Manager Shauna Goutier attended the non-public session.
In public reports, Selectman Ralph Carter said the rat issue at the Transfer Station is under control. Town Administrator Trish Stafford reported the RFP for trash hauling at the Transfer Station has been published, and that she has filed required tax and unemployment reports. Stafford also said she chose Franklin Savings Bank as the provider for a new town credit card and submitted the roofing contract for the library project.
Under signatures and financial actions, the board approved the transfer of $11,324 from ETF 4926.000 to the Town to cover a vacation/sick time buyout related to an employee status change; the motion passed 2-0-1 with Selectman Mark Brown abstaining. Veterans' Tax Credit applications and timber yield and timber intents were also signed.
