McIntosh council approves Poplar Meadows claims and routine motions; city claims total $38,623.85

Rebecca Boehrnsen, licensed assisted living director for Poplar Meadows, told the council the facility had 25 residents and two open apartments. The council approved submitted claims for Poplar Meadows totaling $76,108.14 and approved a half‑page advertisement in the Tri‑Valley publication for $1,440 for a year. Minutes record those motions as carried.
Councilmember Luke Syverson moved and Councilmember Beth Hagen seconded a $100 donation to McIntosh Senior Living for its June 13 golf scramble at the Fosston Golf Club; the motion carried. The council also approved sharing health insurance expenses with Maintenance Supervisor Peter Tranby and voted to change the November council meeting date from Nov. 12 to Nov. 5.
City claims totaling $38,623.85 were approved on a motion by Syverson, seconded by Adam Strutz. The council adjourned at 6:23 p.m. The next regular meeting is scheduled for June 11, 2026.
The minutes also note that Wanda Stordahl volunteered to paint curbs before the July 4 celebration and that security cameras were installed at Roholt Park consistent with an October 2025 council request.
