At its July 14, 2025 meeting the City Council approved a series of routine resolutions, including a liquor license and several temporary-event permits.
Alderperson Vander Heiden moved and Alderperson Krull seconded approval of Resolution NO RE 2025-167, granting a liquor license to Chulo Puebla Family Restaurant; Alderperson Gerbers registered an abstention and the motion carried. The council then approved Resolution NO RE 2025-168, a Temporary Class B permit for the Seymour Fastpitch Association (motion by Alderperson Hurkman, second by Alderperson Vander Heiden). Later the council approved Resolution NO RE 2025-169, a Temporary Class B permit for the Seymour Baseball Association (motion by Alderperson Vander Heiden, second by Alderperson Schaumberg).
The council also approved Resolution NO RE 2025-170 concerning the Amplify Device (motion by Alderperson Hurkman, second by Alderperson Krull) and Resolution NO RE 2025-171 to pay outstanding bills (motion by Alderperson Krull, second by Alderperson Gerbers).
