Flathead H S trustees approve hire of transportation bus driver; training to begin over Christmas break

Flathead H S trustees voted to approve hiring a transportation employee to serve as a bus driver and said training for the new hire "can start training during Christmas break," staff member Matt said.

The item was presented as a short personnel report. Trustee Matt (staff member Matt led the report) said the transportation department needs a bus driver and thanked trustees for fitting the item on the agenda: "Appreciate you guys' flexibility in getting this meeting on the agenda," Matt said. After brief discussion with no trustee questions, a trustee who identified themself as "Ursula" moved to approve the personnel action and a trustee who said "This is Heidi" seconded. Trustees approved the motion by voice vote; the presiding trustee declared the motion carried unanimously.

The meeting also included routine business. Trustee Jennifer Severe moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting; Will seconded and trustees approved the minutes by voice vote.
