City Administrator Stacy Kalthoff reported at the March 27 Planning Commission meeting that building permits are beginning to come in for siding and shingles and that there has been one new‑build permit filed so far.
Commissioner Chuck Merten asked for an update on an apartment complex expected in town; Kalthoff said the developer wanted to delay action until mid‑April. Commissioners also requested and received an update on Xcel Energy activity: staff said Xcel is planning pole placements down Oakwood as part of distribution work related to a substation.
The commission set its next meeting for April 24, 2025 and adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
