Public Works Lead Fischer described the project timeline and presented color options from MSA’s landscape architects. After reviewing the proposed palettes and discussing durability and aesthetics, the board determined the blue/green pattern best fit the park setting and community use.
Commissioner Murphy moved to forward a recommendation to the City Council to proceed with the Blue/Green colors; Commissioner Baugh-Buys seconded. The motion carried 5-0.
The recommendation will be transmitted to the City Council for final approval; the minutes did not record a Council decision at this meeting. The board’s discussion noted only the color selection and project timeline; no amendments or funding changes were recorded in the minutes.
