Greene County recognizes long‑serving employees; bids opened for surveillance trailers and jail parking lot

Human Resources Director Erin Thornhill recognized Greene County employees who reached service anniversaries between January and June 2026 during the Commissioners’ June 25 meeting, presenting certificates and service pins.

Thornhill listed employees and their milestone years: five years — Joe Lawson, Zachary Marshall, Tristan Mull and Michael Necina (Sanitary Engineering); 10 years — Vicki Bawidamann (Sanitary Engineering) and Michael Kulp (Job & Family Services); 20 years — Lisa Kelley (Sanitary Engineering) and Ashlee Schmitt (Parks & Trails); 25 years — Lisa Stafford (Community Services) and Kristie Tidd (Development); and 30 years — Debra Rohlfing (Job & Family Services) and Julie Wick (Human Resources). The meeting also included a “Spin the Wheel” random drawing awarding three employees $100 Visa gift cards to Dana Doll (Sanitary Engineering), Amy Dyke and Ashley Cooper (Job & Family Services).

Earlier the same day at 11 a.m., bids were received for Law Enforcement Surveillance Trailers with offers listed in the minutes as: Goview — $95,500.00; Reconview — $79,721.55; Industrial Video & Control — $92,700.00; Utilitra LLC — $120,619.60; and Integrade Protection Services — $144,860.00. The minutes record that the Sheriff’s Office will review those bids and prepare a recommendation. Bids were also opened for the Jail Parking Lot (77 and 105 East Market Street); the only bid recorded in the minutes was from Fillmore Construction for $468,750.00, which will be reviewed by the Department of Development before a recommendation to the board.

The recognition remarks and the bid openings were recorded as part of the standard minutes; no vote was required for the employee recognitions.
