Findlay supervisors approve subdivision, multiple permits, contract and routine fiscal actions; votes at a glance

The board approved a conditional-use permit for Hudson Trading Group LLC to add light manufacturing at 102 Technology Drive (motion by Gallant; second by Chappell; 3 ayes).
The board also approved Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law for two short-term rental conditional-use decisions (Dan Moskal, 922 Lodgepole Drive; Michael Kubatka, 107 Oakwood Lane) and was informed staff had identified five other residences operating short-term rentals without applications and would prepare violation notices.
On transportation, supervisors approved HRG’s $55,200 design services quote to add two right-turn lanes at Burgettstown Road and I-576, funded from Findlay Transportation District funds (motion by Gallant; second by Chappell; 3 ayes). The board awarded SHACOG spring commodities bids per the Public Works director’s April 6 memorandum and approved bills and payroll, the minutes of the April meetings, and the Treasurer’s Report, which listed balances across township accounts. The board also approved refunds requested by the Real Estate Tax Collector totaling $4,888.25 (two Thermo Fisher Scientific parcels).
All recorded votes in the meeting were carried by the three supervisors in attendance: Thomas Gallant, Raymond Chappell and Janet Craig (each item recorded as 3 ayes). The meeting adjourned at 7:26 p.m.
