Findlay Township hires three part‑time Summer Parks workers at $15 an hour

Garrett said J.J. Miller and Abbinanti were not yet 16 and that Dante’s class schedule meant staggered availability; he recommended pay of $15 per hour and an effective start date of June 1, 2026.
Thomas Gallant made the motion to approve hiring Micah Abbinanti, Dante D’Eramo and Joseph Miller as part‑time Summer Parks employees at $15 per hour effective June 1, 2026. Raymond Chappell seconded the motion. The board recorded 3 ayes and the motion carried.
The hires are intended to provide coverage throughout the week during the summer season given the candidates’ differing schedules. The board did not discuss additional compensation details or start‑of‑employment paperwork during the workshop; personnel onboarding will proceed consistent with township policy.
