Lions Pride Park well abandonment: Staff explained change order #1 ($14,819.10) for well abandonment work. Crews discovered wells much deeper than expected when pumps were pulled, increasing sealing costs; the board approved the change order by voice vote.
Perry Farms dedication: The township engineer (CKS) recommended denying the developer’s request for dedication until punch‑list and deficient items are addressed. The board approved a resolution denying dedication pending completion of the deficiencies and asked staff to request a timeline from the developer to minimize resident inconvenience.
Consent agenda: Consent items a–d were approved by the board.
Public comments and other items: Residents voiced concerns about traffic at a shopping‑center intersection; park and rec staff and supervisors said they would consult PennDOT about signal timing. Residents also asked about utilization of the new $1.7M Lindy Community Room (Lions Pride Park); staff said programming and rentals have begun and that some donor and grant funding helped offset construction costs.
