At its June 16 meeting the Mendota Heights City Council unanimously approved the consent agenda covering routine and project approvals.
Items approved included minutes for recent meetings, acknowledgement of Parks & Recreation minutes and Fire synopses, Resolution 2026-40 appointing election judges, liquor license renewals and an on-sale intoxicating/sunday license for Bricksworth Beer Co. LLC, a grading permit for 2320 Lexington Avenue and a first amendment to the Lexington Heights Apartments Planned Unit Development. The council also authorized entering into a contract with MN Native Landscapes for the Friendly Marsh Park Turf-to-Prairie project, accepted donations tied to park ribbon-cuttings and events (Resolutions 2026-38 and 2026-39), approved purchase of bleachers for Hagstrom-King Park and new duty handguns for the police department, and approved the May 2026 treasurer's report and claims list.
Councilor Lorberbaum moved approval of the consent agenda; Councilor Mazzitello seconded. The motion passed 5-0.
These approvals finalize several routine operational items and allow city staff to proceed with contracted park improvements and other administrative tasks.
