Mayor: Developers plan Hemmert Ranch phases together; developers agreement expected by February

Mayor Devin Simpson reviewed proposed roadways and sidewalks for the Hemmert Ranch Addition and told the council representatives from the Selcer Group plan to do phases one and two together and are pursuing DEQ permits.
“Plan to have a Developers Agreement by February for the council’s review,” the mayor said, adding that once roads are complete the Town intends to accept them. Public works staff advised the council the Town will need additional personnel and equipment—another plow and a skid steer—to maintain the extra roads if they are turned over to the town.
Councilmember Pelletier recommended a yield sign at the north side of Franklin and Wright Street instead of a stop sign. The mayor noted that if the developer bonds the work, lots could be sold before the infrastructure is finished.
