Thayne council hears engineering update on booster pump generator and reports sewer jetting after resident complaints

Sunrise Engineering told the Thayne Town Council it is working on a bid for an east booster pump generator. The update came as part of routine infrastructure reports at the Sept. 11 meeting.
Cliff, reporting for streets and utilities, said the town has completed jetting of sewer lines after residents reported black water in toilets. Jetting was performed on Osmond, Moser and Wright streets; Cliff said the DEQ annual sewer inspection is pending and the town's equipment maintenance (including DOT inspections for trucks) is underway. Mayor Devin Simpson asked Cliff to follow up with Sunrise Engineering about the North Sewer Line.
Judge Lawton delivered a separate monthly report and the council had no questions. There was no formal council action recorded on the engineering bid or the sewer issues during this meeting; the items were recorded as updates and staff follow-up was requested.
