Supervisors discussed the technical constraints of the parcel, stormwater features that may appear in back yards, and the planning commission's differing recommendations on dedication. One supervisor noted the complexity of accepting a small private road and the long-term maintenance obligations that would fall to the township if dedicated.
A motion to keep the road private passed and the board then approved the subdivision resolution with conditions and the required buyer disclosures. Planning counsel stated the applicant accepted all conditions in the resolution.
The resolution approval was procedural and conditioned on the planning-commission items incorporated into the final plan; staff will ensure the documented disclosures and conditions are recorded and provided to prospective buyers as required.
