Committee member Strelow moved, and Committee member Berndt seconded, a motion authorizing Ben to ask Ripon Truck Repair whether the town could rent a replacement truck for $1,000 per month; the motion carried.
Dan also reported operational updates: crews have been weighing trucks empty and full to track salt usage, are adequately supplied with salt, replaced a steering assist box on the 1999 truck, are ordering additional grader tire chain links, plan to limb trees with a county boom truck in February, and that he and Austin will attend MSHA training on Jan. 16.
