Planning board reviews remodel-permit proposal, grant closeout and other business; Sarah Bollinger to appear March 17

At the March 3 meeting the Temple Planning Board discussed several administrative and interboard items. Christine Robidoux said the Select Board is proposing a new permit for interior remodeling when structural work is involved, such as the removal of a load-bearing wall. Guest Ken Caisse described the proposed permit’s scope as applying to structural interior changes; the board agreed to work with the Select Board on the effort during 2026.
Bill Ezell reported that a court acknowledged the Planning Board’s longstanding practice of delaying action on an application until the Zoning Board completes its review in the case of the Marsh Antique Automotive Restoration Facility.
Robidoux also said she is coordinating with the Southwestern Regional Planning Commission (SWRPC) to close out the HOP grant; SWRPC will submit one final invoice and Sarah Bollinger is scheduled to attend the March 17 meeting to discuss the closeout. The board noted upcoming training opportunities, including an NHOPD webinar on adopting a new floodplain map scheduled for March 26.
Jim Medeiros motioned to adjourn at 7:35 p.m.; Matt Cabana seconded. The motion passed by roll-call vote with all in favor.
