At the Dec. 22 Selectmen meeting, Ron Profaizer moved to accept the minutes with one edit—striking a duplicate reference to a state Department of Transportation driveway permit notification—and Steve Goldsmith seconded; the selectmen agreed to accept the corrected minutes.
The board recorded routine administrative business: they signed and paid bills, signed payroll, and recorded receipt of Check #1240 for $679.74 from the Trustees of the Trust Fund at the request of the Cemetery Trustees to cover maintenance expenses.
The board also reviewed two anonymous voicemail complaints and took no action, reviewed a voicemail tax card request for 12 Mason Dr., and noted a brief customer-impact notice from Eversource that typical residential customers would see about a $1.22 (approximately 1%) total-bill reduction.
Ron Profaizer reported that public-notice requirements for a public hearing on Jan. 7, 2025 at 7:00 P.M. at Town Hall regarding changes to the permit fee schedule have been met. Steve Goldsmith reported he inspected and approved two solar installations for J & M Welnak and B. Russell. Bruce Smith of the Budget Committee said a budget meeting date has not yet been set.
Ron Profaizer motioned to adjourn, Steve Goldsmith seconded, and the selectmen agreed; the meeting adjourned at 8:45 P.M. Minutes were submitted by R. Profaizer.
