Sugar Hill Selectmen sign letters, appoint Community Power rep and record routine items

At the Nov. 10 meeting the Selectmen named Margo Connors as the Community Power community representative, signed an MS‑60W audit waiver and letters supporting a moratorium on landfill permits, acknowledged a police commendation and scheduled a fundraising sale at the Crapo Building.
Sugar Hill Selectmen recorded several routine administrative actions and community items at their Nov. 10, 2025 meeting.
The board noted that Margo Connors will serve as the Community Power community representative for Sugar Hill and that Selectman Rusty Talbot will act as the town representative for Community Power. The board signed a Department of Revenue MS‑60W Audit Waiver Request and, jointly with the Conservation Commission, signed letters to Governor Ayotte and Senator Rochefort expressing support for a moratorium on landfill permits and for protecting local control.
Town Administrator Jennifer Gaudette told the board that the Littleton Ambulance budget will increase by 4%. The Police Department was recognized for receiving a letter of commendation for Sergeant Szandyba from the Bath Police Department. The Crapo Building is scheduled for a fundraising sale Nov. 21–23, 10 a.m.–3 p.m. The Conservation Commission will maintain a $1,000 budget for the coming year, as noted by Larry Sawyer. Cemetery Trustee funding was discussed in public comment: Kathy Jablonski said trustees will meet to finalize whether to request a $15,000 budget and that a Capital Reserve Fund (CRF) of $5,000 had been suggested at the prior Town Meeting.
The public portion of the meeting adjourned at 5:45 p.m.; the board later entered a nonpublic session under RSA 91‑A:3 II(c) and voted to seal those nonpublic minutes.
