WPCA moves forward on FST tank cover removal; plant reports a brief non‑compliance incident

Superintendent Terrence Donoghue reported that stainless steel haunches are being fabricated for the FST cover removal and that fabrication has an estimated two‑week lead time; work will be scheduled once the tank thaws and can be pumped out. Donoghue said Kerma approved the final scope of work and that stainless steel had been chosen from three options.
On plant operations, Donoghue confirmed the plant report was emailed to board members and noted no other issues were identified by members present. He reported that the Monkey Island solar array’s Eversource credit was exhausted during recent cold weather and snow cover but that the array is now clear and the credit will reset in March. Donoghue also said he attended the plant at about 3:00 a.m. after a non‑compliance event related to flow levels and that details will follow in the formal plant report.
There were no formal updates on filling the assistant plant operator position or acquiring a new vehicle.
