Community Development Director Durham said the draft amendments align the bylaws with Tennessee law and the commission’s existing practices and described a minor revision in Article 3, Section 6 to specify that roll-call votes shall be recorded in the official minutes. "The updated language specifically states roll call votes shall be recorded in the official minutes," Durham said, adding the change is intended to clarify documentation without altering voting procedures or statutory authority.
A motion to approve the bylaw amendments passed by roll-call vote recorded as unanimous.
