POA seeks second engineering review for Kahidi lift station; preliminary engineering report expected soon

Board president Mike Lackey said the POA engaged a new engineering firm (C2RL) for a preliminary engineering review (PER) of the Kahidi lift station; the board and its committees will review the PER before deciding next steps for the project.
The Tellico Village board has sought a second opinion on the Kahidi lift station and expects a preliminary engineering review from a newly contracted engineering firm, Mike Lackey said.
Lackey said the board felt an important village infrastructure project required an additional expert review. Once the C2RL PER is received, the board along with PSAC and FAC committees will review it to determine the right course of action for Kahidi and the broader village.
