A committee member (speaker 2) moved to recommend completing the safety improvements, including the 15 mph limit, and to forward the request to the village board with a positive recommendation. The motion carried with one recorded opposition.
The committee’s recommendation will appear on the village board agenda for final action; staff said the work is small in scope and would be funded from routine operating funds rather than the capital budget.
