Enon administrator reports $19,000 well cleaning, excavator loan pending and other routine updates

Administrator Kevin Siferd provided routine operational updates to the Village of Enon Council on Feb. 27.
Siferd reported that Well #4 had a check valve fixed by Boone Water and that the well was cleaned at a cost of $19,000. He said an excavator is ready for pickup once loan documents with Wesbanco are signed, expected within the week. Siferd also stated the village GIS project is nearly complete and that a proposal from an Eagle Scout to move and erect flag poles at the Government Center will be presented to Council at a future meeting.
On community health efforts, Siferd reported 24 units of blood were collected at a drive held Feb. 21 and that the next drive is scheduled for Wednesday, April 24, 2024. He also reminded attendees of the daylight saving time change on March 10, 2024.
