The Dickinson Township Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance 2025‑03 on Dec. 3 to establish a Local Services Tax (LST) effective in 2026 and appointed the Cumberland County Tax Bureau as the tax collection agency (Resolution 2025‑21). The vote to adopt the ordinance and resolutions was unanimous.
Vice Chairperson Jennifer DeGaetano, who opened the earlier board report portion of the meeting, urged residents to file complaints related to FPR matters and noted that legislators expect complaint counts; she encouraged using township channels, the township website, or contacting her directly to ensure issues are documented for lawmakers. The Board also authorized advertisement of the 2026 meeting calendar and approved Aero Energy as the 2026 fuel provider.
The Board adopted Resolution 2025‑22 accepting the advertised 2026 operating budgets and a 2026–2030 capital plan. Chairman Rob Kole noted that higher interest earnings this year enabled the budget to project $60,000–$70,000 in interest revenue for 2026 and requested that the Treasurer include updated interest reporting in future Treasurer’s reports.
The Board also adopted Resolution 2025‑23 to maintain the current property tax and fire service levies for 2026; there was no tax increase for the 2026 fiscal year. Motions on these items were seconded and passed unanimously by the supervisors present (Kole, DeGaetano, Line).
