Board ratifies $2.33 million in bills, hires zoning officer and awards salt contract to Eastern Salt Co.

The Dickinson Township Board of Supervisors at its Nov. 5 meeting unanimously approved several routine but material consent and procurement items.
Under the consent agenda the Board ratified bills totaling $2,326,515.56 for Oct. 9, approved bills of $41,901.87 for Oct. 28, approved meeting minutes for Oct. 1 and Oct. 14, acknowledged the hiring of Ryan Hoover as Zoning/Codes Enforcement Officer, and approved the lowest 2025–2026 propane pricing proposal from Koppy's Propane at $1.369 per gallon.
In separate new-business action the Board approved the Western Cumberland Council of Governments (WCCOG) 2025–2026 salt bid. Vice Chairperson Jennifer DeGaetano moved to accept Eastern Salt Company, Inc. as the low bidder at $89.00 per ton; Supervisor Robert "Bob" Line III seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
These approvals were routine motions recorded in the consent and new-business portions of the agenda. The hiring of the Zoning/Codes Enforcement Officer and the salt contract award will be implemented by township staff as part of normal operational processes.
