The Tippecanoe County Commissioners approved a slate of routine but material administrative actions at their meeting.
The board approved accounts payable claims dated 06/24/2026–07/06/2026 and payroll for 06/18/2026 and 07/02/2026 by voice votes. Human Resources (Sadie) requested and won approval of an updated contract with Suncrest Psychological Services: the changes provide unlimited EAP visits for law enforcement and public safety personnel and 26 visits per year for eligible employees and dependents enrolled in the county health plan. The board also approved a staffing adjustment for CASA (eliminating one volunteer coordinator and creating one staff advocate) with no change in cost.
Other approved items included ratification of a $2,000 sale of surplus X2 cartridges to an out‑of‑state agency, a rental agreement with Ecolab for a commercial dishwasher (staff said the lease reduces repair costs), and a 5% increase to fairground rental rates effective Jan. 1 (staff said they will be flexible for customers with existing arrangements). The board created a server replacement fund to accumulate appropriations, gifts and grants for data storage and related acquisitions.
Each of the motions was approved by voice vote.
