Chair Cheryl Stackpole asked staff at the June 9 Selectboard meeting to request that two potential candidates for the town’s fire-truck RFP submit sealed bids by the June 23 Selectboard meeting so the board can review them.
Cheryl Stackpole made the request and directed staff member Clarence Flanders to handle the sealed-bid process; the minutes do not record any public comment, bid amounts, specifications for the vehicles, or which vendors are being asked to bid. The board did not take a formal vote on the RFP instruction at the June 9 meeting and set the item for review at the June 23 meeting.
