The council adopted the ordinance on a roll-call vote with Bieri, Martinez and Lisa Mengler recorded as voting yes; no nays were recorded. The ordinance amends Chapter 99 of the municipal code.
The council did not record additional amendments or conditions to the ordinance at the meeting. The change will be applied starting with the July 2026 billing cycle.
