Blair Township planning commission executes Sewage Facilities Planning Module Component 4A

The Blair Township Planning Commission on May 5, 2025, executed a revision to the township Sewage Facilities Planning Module Component 4A following a municipal review of the required Component 4A form.
Dave Cunningham of Keller Engineers submitted the revision request. Eric Banks reviewed the Component 4A Municipal Planning Agency Review form with the commission. The minutes record that the commission found the proposal consistent with the municipal comprehensive plan adopted under the Municipal Planning Code, consistent with the municipal subdivision and land development ordinance, consistent with the Official Sewage Facilities Plan, and consistent with local land-use planning relative to prime agricultural land preservation. The form also noted that the project proposes encroachments affecting wetlands by impacting utility line crossings but recorded that there are no known historic or archaeological resources or known endangered or threatened species that would be impacted by the project.
When asked whether the municipality had any wastewater needs in the area adjacent to the proposed project, the commission stated there were none. After discussion, Commissioner Chris Kriedler moved to execute the Sewage Facilities Planning Module Component 4A; Dodie Amigh seconded. The motion passed, recorded in the minutes as three yes votes.
The minutes do not record further administrative steps after execution; the commission adjourned at 6:22 p.m. and will reconvene on June 2, 2025.
