Price City approves engineering services award for spring water transmission line project

Staff said four proposals were received and two firms were interviewed by an internal committee; the committee recommended Johansen and Tuttle Engineering in partnership with Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services. Jonathan Johansson, representing the recommended firm, introduced himself and said his team had done preliminary assessment work and had been coordinating with the city on rights-of-way and alignment considerations. Johansson said the team could "hit the ground running" to meet the project’s time-sensitive schedule.
Council Member Richardson moved approval of the engineering services award and Council Member Willis seconded; the motion carried by voice vote.
